How to Get Functional Fitness In Your Gym

"Being able to pick up & move heavy stuff, jump up & over things, move your body around easily, & enough cardio to work as long as you want would most definitely help you kick serious ass in the 'real world'.  But do you really need 'boxes' full of special equipment to do it?"

So I think we both know that "functional fitness" is a *the* popular buzzword in the workout industry today.

Magazines put it on the cover, infomercial workouts are trying to tap into it, and there's a new "box" popping up on every other street corner trying to get you to do their crazy, "random" workouts.

Now I'm not gonna say functional fitness isn't legit - because it definitely is.

Think about it:

Being able to pick up & move heavy stuff, jump up & over things, move your body around easily, cardio to let you go from one to another to another without stopping, and enough energy to work as long as you want.

Yeah...that would most definitely help you kick serious ass in the "real world".

But what if I told you that the magazine stuff, "boxes", and all the other complicated crap that came with it just wasn't necessary?

That you can do it all in the gym you already go to, starting in your very next workout?

"Mind. Blown."

^That's the first thing I saw from Daniel when I got up this morning.

Evidently he was inspired by the stuff I said John was able to do in this article, so he decided to get this workout program for himself.

(Well, him and a bunch of other guys yesterday.)

Wasted no time getting started, hitting his local gym yesterday afternoon for his first workout.

"...just got back from the gym doing the first workout and whoa. Mind. Blown.

(Along with my shoulders, back, legs, lungs, and everything else haha)

Have to admit the first workout left me in a heap, but I know I'll be a machine once I get used to it. And not needing boxes or bumper plates is awesome. I didn't think I could do this kind of workout in a regular gym!"

Hell yeah, Daniel. Good job, man.

Pretty bitchin' what you can do with the most basic of gym equipment when you have the right type of programming, huh?

Want to be the next "machine" this program creates? Then go grab your copy.

Your Equipment Doesn't Really Matter

I think you prolly know that I'm a big rock & roll fan.

Angus Young (the lead guitar player from AC/DC) has played a Gibson SG guitar for years. And he can tear the damn house down with his badass guitar solos.

Put a Gibson SG in MY hands, and you'll be lucky to get a simplistic "Smoke on the Water" riff that sounds halfway decent.

lol

You see what I'm getting at?

It's NOT the tools that make the man. It's the man that knows how to use the tools he has that creates awesomeness.

Listen - I'm not gonna sit here & tell you that Olympic lifts are bad or that boxes to jump on or battle ropes to swing around are useless.

'Cause they're not.

But if you don't know how to do Olympic lifts properly (which 99.9% of us don't), or you don't have boxes or battle ropes to use (which, again, most of us don't) then that doesn't mean you now have to either join a special gym or just write off the idea of being functionally fit.

Instead, do the stuff you already know how to do with the equipment you already have access to...just do it a different way.

Don't know how to do Olympic barbell Snatches (or not strong enough to use a heavy weight)? No problem - grab a dumbbell & Snatch that instead.

Don't have boxes to Jump onto? That's fine - grab a bench & just Jump *over* it, instead.

You're gonna get ALL the same types of results - the strength, the explosive power, the endurance, the cardio...

And most importantly, the "functional fitness" to go from one to the other to the other to the other without stopping.

Because what you specifically do in the gym *really* doesn't matter...it's about what you can end up doing out in the "real world".

The real world doesn't care if you're Snatching a barbell or a dumbbell. If Jumping onto a box or over a bench.

All that matters is if you have the "functional fitness" you want when you really end up needing it.

And if you can get it by doing exercises you already know how to do with equipment you already have access to, then just make the simple choice.

Use this program to get all the functional fitness you ever wanted.

No special anything required.
