Your Questions Answered!

Q - What exactly do I get with the "Forge" product?

A - Great question!  Watch this "walk-through" video to find out!

Q - Is this for guys who are newbs to training, or is it for anyone?

A - "Forge" is honestly for anyone and everyone. The "stock" program will suit people of all levels - you just do what you can do. The "main exercise" progression will be the same for everyone - you'll just put different weight on the bar depending on how strong you are. And the complexes are the type that basically "force" you to succeed simply because of the way they're designed. If you just "go through the motions", you'll get results just because of the volume and types of exercises used. Go in and work hard, and you'll really kick some ass.

Q - I only have about 45 minutes to train.  Is that enough time to do the Forge workouts?

A - It really depends on what type of shape you're in, how much rest you need during the workout, and what sort of pace you can sustain.  I generally recommend to block out an hour or so to do the "Forge" workouts, but you may be able to finish them in under 45 minutes. If not, I have a method of adapting the workouts to 45-minute chunks so you don't miss anything (it's being used by "Forge" customers already and these dudes are getting great results).  We can hash it out as a part of your email coaching after you've done your first workout or two.

Q - What's the difference between "Forge" and a program like Body Armor other than personalization and webinars?

A - Body Armor was meant to work within specific sets/reps (a rotation that kept repeating) and within just a specific percentage range. You'd get stronger, but peaking for a new 1RM was never really the goal. Forge peaks you for new 1RMs (via the percentage progression over 60 days), but does it with a fair amount of overall volume so that you're building muscle along the way. Then the complexes are much more intense than in other programs - esp for the first 30 days. A lot of volume to force you to adapt. Then we alter those concepts using bodybuilding principles (inspired by both Mr. America/Mr. Universe Bob Gajda as well as the "Iron Guru" Vince Gironda) to be tweaked for aesthetics in the second 30 days.

Q - I train at home and the only equipment I have is a power rack, bench and Olympic bar and plates, I don't have kettlebell, dumbells, or anything else. Is this enough?

A - Yeah, that's more than enough. The original / "stock" version of the program involves dumbbells, but that's where the webinars and coaching comes into play. We'll look at basic alternatives on the webinarss and specific application for you via the coaching. That way you have everything you need.

Q - I train at an MMA gym so the weights I have access to is limited. I've bought a few of your workouts so I know those can be done with what I have at home my biggest concern is not having access to more weights would exclude me. Advice??

A - You don't need much to be able to do the workouts. The "standard" would be a squat rack of some sort, bench, bar and plates, and maybe dumbbells. However, as long as you had a barbell and plates (because the "main exercise" progression" will required the ability to load a specific amount on the bar), we can figure the rest out. If you don't have a squat rack or a bench in order to Squat or Bench, then we can figure out alternatives. That's the purpose of the webinars and coaching - to ensure that you have a solution that works for you. Also - the workout could always be broken up if need be. So as an example, say the weights at the gym are better suited for doing your "main exercises", but the stuff you have at home would be better for the complexes. Through the coaching, we could come up with a plan where you split the workouts where you do the "main exercise" while you're at the gym, and the complexes later at home. Or even a plan where we "mix & match": A "stock" setup would be as shown in the video - main exercises followed by complexes. Well, instead of having (for example) two days in a row like that, maybe we have you do two main exercises at the MMA gym one day, then a lot more rounds of complexes than normal at home the next day. See what I mean? In the end, it's about starting with the stock program, then using the coaching to create modify specifically for you as needed. That's where the whole "I make sure you succeed" and I "force you to win" things come from...lol Hope that helps!
